Concerts and Festivals are required and are factored into students' grades. The only acceptable reasons for missing a concert are serious illness, funerals, weddings, etc. Absences due to work, church activities, family vacations, etc. are not considered excused and only up to 75% of points may be made up through a research paper assignment. Mrs. Warby needs to receive notification of valid excused absences prior to the concert or festival for points to be made up. Students have only two weeks following the performance to make up any points through writing a research paper.
